(Electric Generating Company in the South)

As part of the transference to EGESUR there are included all the grants, authorizations and servitudes of electricity, as well as the authorizations of water use..

Type of Property and Category :State company of private right. Nowadays is in Category B.

Company Social Capital: The share capital on December 31, 2008, is represented by 177 941 442 actions by nominal value S/. 1.00 Nuevo Sol each one.

Company’ Activity : EGESUR's principal object is to devote to the own(proper) activities of the electrical generation for your marketing inside your area of grant and of the Interconnected National System.

Installed Power : EGESUR, on December 31, 2008, possesses an installed power of 62,36 MW, of which 35,7 MW is hydraulic generation and 26,66 of thermal generation.

Facilities : EGESUR has to your cargo the operation and maintenance of 9 units of generation, three (3) hydraulic ones, and six (6) thermal ones, as well as Substations, Secondary Lines of Transmission and diverse associate facilities.
